Hell for the Mobilized Near Svatove

Vladimir Putin threw thousands of mobilized men outside Svatove to stop the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in fall 2022. Commanders were sending Russians to the frontline without outfits, training, or cover. Newly fledged soldiers immediately got under fire from the Ukrainian side and then from their own forces as well. These all resulted in catastrophic losses for the Russian army. The authorities are trying to conceal the details of this tragedy by all means. IStories, however, got hold of unique documents—hundreds of complaints to Putin from families of the mobilized thrown for slaughter in the Luhansk region. We verified the data from those addresses, talked to their authors, and reconstructed the full picture of the Svatove slaughter.
